My hubby and I decided to become a little green fingered this year and see if we could actually grow anything in our garden. We made a small veggie patch at the back of our garden and set to sewing our seeds in early March this year. We then started planting the small plants in the garden and with a spot of rain, sunshine and pure luck we have a successful patch of peas, onions, green beans, tomatoes, rhubarb, carrots and lots and lots of herbs. I am so happy the hard work paid off and we have enjoyed eating the fruits (and veg) of our labour. This weekend I will plant some salad leaves and radish..fingers crossed we are successful.
