Birds
I thought I'd better add some photos of my on going work. I'm really into birds at the moment and adding them to soft furnishings. I was inspired by Cath Kidston's Sew. Its a great book and has nice ideas and handy templates. I used an old vintage table cloth given to me by my Mum and added a few birds and hearts cut from vintage fabrics I have collected. It only took just over an hour and looks great in our dining/lounge. I also used this idea to decorate a few photo boards I had hanging in the spare room, I love the rose print which is from Laura Ashley. I am sure I will be adding to my bird collection in the next few weeks.
